AUSTRALIAN based WRITER
Mijbil Bricknell lives and writes in Brisbane/Meanjin. Mij was named after Gavin Maxwell’s famous literary otter from ‘Ring of Bright Water’ and is the great-great-great-nephew of Bushranger Ned Kelly; storytelling is in his blood. A playwright and copywriter, he has worked in the cultural sector for more than 20 years.

ABOUT MIJ
Born and raised in the city and by the sea, and frequent adventurer to the top of the world; Mij is a fiction writer based in Brisbane, Australia.
Mij has led national media, advertising and marketing campaigns in the cultural sector, written and produced theatre productions and once went to NASA to live report a spaceship flying into Saturn.
He has also worked as an Editor and Reviewer for industry journals and a passionate Nordic recipe experimenter under the name The Scandinavian Baker.
